Shipping & Delivery Policy

At EPOHOME, we are dedicated to ensuring your custom furniture arrives safely and efficiently. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand our delivery process, timelines, and service options.

1. Shipping Locations & Costs

Contiguous United States (Lower 48 States)

  • Free Shipping: We are pleased to offer Free Shipping on all standard orders delivered within the contiguous United States.

  • Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or remote/hard-to-access areas. Deliveries to these locations may require a shipping surcharge.

International & Non-Contiguous Regions

  • Destinations: We primarily ship within the United States (Lower 48 States).

  • Restricted Areas: We currently cannot deliver to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, North Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, or India.

  • Request a Quote: For international orders or non-contiguous U.S. territories, please contact us for a shipping quote. Be sure to include the product dimensions and your full shipping address. We aim to provide quotes within 1 business day.

2. Delivery Methods & Unloading Services

All freight deliveries are Curbside Delivery by default.

  • Definition: The truck driver will stop at the nearest safe point to your address (curbside or driveway).

  • Restrictions: Drivers are strictly prohibited from entering your home or moving furniture up stairs.

  • Access: If a truck cannot reach your specific address due to narrow streets, steep grades, or construction, you may need to meet the driver at the nearest safe stopping point.

Unloading Options (By Table Size)

Option A: Tables Under 90" Length

  • Service: Truck unloads at no extra cost.

  • Details: The driver will use a liftgate to lower the crate to the ground.

Option B: Tables Over 90" Length (Oversized Freight) Due to the size and weight of these items, standard liftgates cannot be used. You must plan for one of the following unloading methods:

  1. Customer Unloads (Standard — No Extra Cost)

    • Responsibility: You are responsible for removing the item from the truck.

    • Recommendation: We strongly recommend having 3–6 capable people available to assist upon arrival.

  2. Carrier Unloading Service (+$600 USD)

    • Service: The trucking company provides a forklift and a certified operator for the day to unload the item safely.

    • Note: A more cost-effective option is often for the customer to rent a local forklift independently.

  3. Premium Unloading + Professional Installation (+$800 USD Total)

    • Service: Unloading is handled by the trucking company; installation is handled by a separate professional installer (third-party service).

    • Includes: Unloading, moving indoors, and assembly.

3. Estimated Timelines

Please note that "Delivery Time" includes both Production Time (manufacturing) and Transit Time (shipping).

Customized Items (Made-to-Order)

  • Standard Shipping: Ready to ship in approx. 9–12 weeks after drawing approval.

  • Expedited Shipping: Ready to ship in approx. 6–9 weeks after drawing approval (Additional fee applies).

  • Disclaimer: All custom timelines are estimates due to the handmade nature of our epoxy and wood products.

In-Stock Items

  • Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery in 5–8 weeks.

  • Expedited Shipping: Estimated delivery in 3–5 weeks.

4. Important Shipping Details

Packaging

Each slab or table is securely wrapped in protective blankets and crated in sturdy wood packaging to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details. Please allow a few days for carrier tracking scans to update in the system.

Changing a Delivery Address

  • Please verify your address carefully at checkout.

  • If you need to correct an address, contact support@epohome.com immediately.

  • We cannot modify the delivery address after the item has shipped.

  • Note: Address corrections, re-delivery fees, or storage fees charged by the carrier due to customer error/unavailability will be billed to the customer.

Partial Shipments

Items may ship from different warehouses via different carriers. If part of your order arrives first, the remaining items are typically still in transit.

Delays

Factors such as weather, flight/cargo capacity, and global logistics disruptions can occasionally delay deliveries, especially to rural areas. We appreciate your patience.

5. Additional Fees & Policies

Wood/Material Change Fee

After you have confirmed your wood or material selection for a custom order, any subsequent request to change the material will incur a $188 USD Material Change Fee. Changing materials after confirmation may also extend the production timeline.

Excluded Services

Unless specifically purchased (e.g., the $800 Premium option), Free Shipping excludes add-on services such as:

  • Inside delivery

  • Stair carries

  • Debris removal

  • White-glove installation

6. Duties, Customs & Taxes (Tax Responsibility)

United States (Main Market) — All Taxes Included

For deliveries to the United States, your checkout total is tax-inclusive:

  • We cover all applicable taxes, customs, and duties.
  • You will not be asked to pay any additional tax/duty fees upon delivery.

International Orders (Outside the U.S.)

  • Unless your checkout explicitly states “taxes/duties included,” import duties, customs fees, and local taxes (if any) may be charged by your local government and are the customer’s responsibility.
